Another gorgeous design with Adobe Flash that Apple will not let you see on the iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch…
What can I say… tha ltd, the interactive architects of Japanese design house MUJI‘s web properties, does an absolutely exquisite job here. Typically, music on websites takes me right out of the experience, hurling me toward the fastest way to turn it the hell off. But in MUJI’s case, the music is always appropriate – and rhythmically vital to the overall experience of the site. It never seems to be an intrusion.
MUJI rhythm’s delightful animation is hypnotic in the most pleasant way. Enchanting, really. The website is sexy and cute at the same time, seamlessly blending the seriousness of MUJI’s design aesthetic with a perfect dose of whimsy. The display of both the merchandise grid and item detail is artful and charming to the last.
I don’t read, speak or understand Japanese, but it didn’t prevent me from loving everything about this amazing Flash site. MUJI rhythm is a sheer pleasure to visit (and re-visit), and only possible with Adobe Flash.
